Preschool to year 1

Louisiana's Children's Wing offers activities and instruction to children in preschool, after-school and recreational programs. The content is organized and the programs are conducted by Louisiana's arts facilitators at the Children’s Wing.

Below you find the themes for a two-hour instructional session for preschool and first grade. The dialogue-based lessons take place in the exhibitions and in the Children's Wing workshop. The active learning process enhances the children’s and young people’s encounter with modern art. The aim is to develop their analytical and critical skills and to inspire them to experience and reflect on the amazing world of art.
