At Louisiana the children have their own area in the museum, Louisiana Børnehus. This three-storey Children's Wing offers open workshops every day, where children from 4 to 16 can paint, draw, sculpt - and explore artists' and architects' working methods and expressions.
All activities for children are based on the museum’s current exhibitions and Louisiana’s Collection. The various activities are organized and conducted by Louisiana’s arts professionals.
ACTIVITIES ARE OPEN TUE-SUN 11-17.30. The Children's Wing closes at 18.

TAL R PAINTING WORKSHOP – SECRET DOORS
The works of Danis artist Tal R are full of mysterious keyholes, openings and stairways - use your imagination to paint what you believe lies hidden on the other side of Tal R's secret passages and doorways.
TAL R COLLAGE WORKSHOP - KOLBOJNIK
Kolbojnik is a Hebrew word for leftovers. The artist Tal R holds on to all sorts of things: photos, patterns, clippings etc never throwing them away but instead using these various items to create collages full of life and narratives. Try out Tal R’s tecniques by cutting and pasting a mulititude of images into your own colourful collages.
WILLIAM KENTRIDGE - PAINTING WORKSHOP
William Kentridge says he "overwrites" stories by drawing and painting on book pages. Try it yourself and create new artworks on book pages with paint and stencils.
LOUISIANA HOUSES - BUILDING WORKSHOP
With a glue gun you can build your own Louisiana inspired house out of black matches, little trees and cardboard.
POP-UP SCULPTURES - PAPER WORKSHOP
Let yourself be inspired by sculptures in the Louisiana Park and cut your very own Dubuffet-sculpture.
THE WOLF WITH THE TWINS - CLAY WORKSHOP
When creating the sculpture Dr. Pounddaddy, Jonathan Meese was inspired by the old Roman myth about the she-wolf who looks after Romulus and Remus. Come and create your very own clay sculpture.
FRANCIS BACON - PAINTING WORKSHOP
Taking inspiration from the contorted figures in the works of Francis Bacon, we use a special mirror foil to see our faces in new and strange ways and subsequently paint them.
Every Sunday from 11.30 to 13.00 you can try and explore ideas, materials and techniques found in the artworks of the current exhibitions.
